Parenting Plans

As divorced parents, you may be challenged to make decisions together while deciding to live apart. Creating a detailed parenting plan is a great first step.

Through Mediation and also as a Family Specialist in the Collaborative Law process, Rachel has successfully helped hundereds of divorcing parents discuss important issues that have allowed them to create well thought-out parenting plans.

The parenting plan discussions focus on how and what to tell the children, co-parenting communication, the parenting time schedule, decision making for the children, extra-curricular activities, extended family, holidays, significant others, and a number of other issues that impact your family and your children.

Rachel serves as a neutral party to help you create a parenting plan that takes into account your children's realities and best interests.  It is one of the most important components of any divorce decree.  Do it right the first time.  Your children will thank you!  Once the parenting plan agreements are reached, Rachel will draft a final copy for you to share with your attorneys or mediator.
